The Adventure Travel Trade Association has announced the winner in this year’s Adventure in Motion film contest.
Thousands of individual adventure travelers voted on their favorite video entries during the month-long online film contest and when the votes were tallied, the clear winner was “Alpine Ski Touring in East Greenland – Remote Peaks of Greenland” from Icelandic Mountain Guides.
The contest had a total of 74 submissions and more than 70,000 votes were cast.
“We are really excited to hear that our video has won the Adventure in Motion contest,” said Arnar Már Ólafsson of Greenland Adventures by Icelandic Mountain Guides. “The untouched wilderness of Greenland has fascinated us since our first visit. It is such a pleasure to get this chance to promote a destination that is so special and captivating.”
