Audley Travel and Trailfinders have topped a Which? poll to find the UK’s best travel company.
The two companies came top of the online poll which surveyed 2,852 members in April and holiday experiences had to include accommodation and transport or an organised tour.
Trailfinders topped the poll for the third year running a 93 per cent satisfaction score, with Audley joining them at the top for the first time. Audley Travel was praised for its ‘superb’ and ‘seamless’ planning, with one Which? member saying it was a ‘class act’. Trailfinders was described by one member as ‘simply brilliant’.
While the two specialist operators were praised, there was bad news for traditional high street travel companies such as Thomson and First Choice, while beleaguered Thomas Cook came bottom with just 61 per cent satisfaction.
