Award-winning Manchester airport opens new lounge

More good news for Manchester Airport passengers. It has opened another lounge – 1903 in Terminal 3.

The adult-only lounge, named after the year of the Wright Brothers first flight, holds up to 71 people and provides a more premium facility for passengers looking to get their holidays off to a flying start.

Offering fantastic views of the airfield, the lounge has its own chefs. Designed exclusively for 1903 and all freshly cooked, the all-inclusive hot and cold food menu is prepared using the best ingredients. Treats include the 1833 vintage reserve cheddar from the world’s oldest makers Barbers and real dairy ice cream from Cheshire Farm.

Manchester Pale Ale and Manchester Gin, including the special Manchester Pink Raspberry infused gin, provide a local touch to the drinks menu which will vary to include a range of seasonal specials throughout the year.

Beth Brewster of  Manchester Airports Group, said: “We’re delighted to launch our flagship 1903 lounge in Terminal 3. The final product looks superb and offers passengers a real slice of luxury before their flight.”

Passengers using the lounge will also be able to make use of Fast Track security and unlimited free Wi-Fi.

Lounge entry costs from £35 when booked in advance here
