The British Museum has been named one of the best in the world and No1 in the UK.
The London museum – dedicated to human history, art and culture – is also judged to be the fourth best in Europe according to TripAdvisor reviews.
Boasting an amazing eight works including collections from Ancient Egypt, the Greek Bronze Age and the Roman Empire, the museum topped the UK poll in the Travellers’ Choice Awards for Museums.
