Is Britney Spears staying at this Lakes hotel?

Will she or won’t she? Well The Cranleigh Boutique is getting ready for a visit from Britney Spears so let’s just hope she does book into the luxurious Lake District hotel. The pop princess is swapping Los Angeles for the UK to work with top British producer Naughty Boy on her comeback album.

Naughty Boy is a huge fan of the Lakes and plans to take the “Baby One More Time” singer on a tour. So hotels in the area are hoping they’ll be checking the 31-year-old star in some time soon. Cranleigh’s owner Stephen Hargreaves, who also launched the first of a number of private luxury boutique houses, the Hideout, in April, said:  “We would obviously be thrilled to host Britney Spears at either the Cranleigh Boutique or the Hideout. We have had a number of famous faces staying with us over the years and of course, they can always be assured of absolute discretion. The Cranleigh Boutique, with 18 designer rooms including the above, was named the most romantic destination in the UK and third in the world by TripAdvisor in February and this month was shortlisted for ‘Hotel of the Year 2013′, in the Westmorland Gazette’s Business and Tourism Awards.
