Victorian twist for Derren Brown’s Thorpe Park attraction?

Two life-size Victorian style dolls shocked Londoners this morning as the creepy pair popped up at commuter hotspots across the capital to mark the launch of the world’s first psychological theme park ride created by Derren Brown, coming to Thorpe Park

Will Derren Brown’s Thorpe Park attraction have a Victorian theme?

The famed mentalist was in London yesterday, giving clues away to the content of the world’s first psychological theme park attraction that opens in 2016.

In a stunt on the Tube, Brown conjured up two Victorian sisters – 10-year-old girls dressed in period costume and wearing creepy doll masks – to give morning commuters a shock.

Some members of the public even took to social media after seeing the terrifying two-some carrying toy dolls and pushing an empty 1900’s style pram.

Brown said: “The theme of Victoriana is ever present in my work and you will see glimpses of this in my new attraction.

“I believe we are moving toward a future where theme park attractions not only give you a physical experience but also play with your mind and the concept of what is real.

“The Victorian twin dolls, who have popped up around London this week, are just a taster of what my new attraction has in store for visitors to Thorpe Park next Spring.

“I look forward to the public unwrapping the clues of what’s to come – all is very much, not what it seems.”

The team at Thorpe Park Resort announced the new, world first Derren Brown attraction in October which resulted in worldwide media coverage and endless speculation as to the content of the ‘ride’.
