Disney adds Frozen Summer Fun Live!

Frozen Summer Fun Live

Given Frozen’s blockbuster status (and the fact there are currently five-hour queues to meet the stars Anna and Elsa in Magic Kingdom), Walt Disney World has launched Frozen Summer Fun Live!

The celebration of the ice-cool film – Disney’s biggest grossing of all time – will take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando and will include  a daily character procession, sing-alongs with Anna and Elsa, fireworks, a polar playground, ice skating rink, ice carving demonstrations and a nightly party featuring a live band, all themed to the worldwide phenomenon.

Frozen Summer Fun Live! will take place from July 5 to September 1 with highlights including:

Anna’s & Elsa’s Royal Welcome:  Each day at 11 am, Anna and Elsa, riding in a horse-drawn sleigh, will travel in a royal procession down Hollywood Boulevard. Rugged mountain man Kristoff will also be there, along with skaters, skiers and ice cutters.

For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration: Inside the park’s Premiere Theater, Princess Anna and Queen Elsa will invite visitors to join in special sing-along moments from the film’s chart-topping soundtrack.

Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland: The park’s Soundstage One will a Frozen Funland with an ice skating rink, ice carvings and winter activities in the “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” area, named after one of the film’s hits.

Guests can take pictures with the film’s animated characters in a virtual setting, and then email them or share on their social media channels.

Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party: From 5:30-9:30 p.m. each evening, a live band will take the stage to celebrate the Frozen summer fun with contemporary songs and a few familiar tunes from the film.

Frozen Fireworks: At 9:45 each evening, there will be a fireworks dislpay set to the film’s soundtrack.
