Hard to believe that this list of what to do and see in Cornwall is all down to a Cornish pasty!
After it was revealed two thirds of kids have never tasted one, holiday company Stay In Cornwall decided to put together a Top 20 “bucket list” of what you must experience when visiting the county.
Attractions such as the Minack Theatre, The Barbara Hepworth Museum and The Eden Project are included as well as more historical treasures such as The Count House and Tintagel Castle. Alongside the attractions, traditional Cornish cuisine features heavily with eating a cream tea, sampling stargazy pie and of course, devouring a humble Cornish pasty also making the list.
Matt Fletcher from stayincornwall.co.uk said, “We were shocked to hear the statistics that only 58 per cent of children had tried a Cornish pasty and felt that this needed to be rectified. Cornwall’s heritage is part of its charm and this bucket list as a way to inform people of all that Cornwall offers. Hopefully the weather encourages people to tick off as many as possible. ”
