February half-term at Gleneagles

Swanky Scottish resort Gleneagles is promoting a host of activities for youngsters this February half-term.

The Perthshire hotel, set on an 850-acre estate an hour from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, is offering kids the chance to shoot a bow like Merida from Brave, practice their aim with an air rifle or ride a pony.

There’s also a Craft Corner where they can paint pottery or bake Valentine’s cookies for loved ones. Golf fans can hone their skills at a two-day Junior Golf Camp hosted by the Golf Academy on the site of last year’s Ryder Cup.

There’s also family rugby, football skills, and kids zumba classes from Saturday February 7 to Sunday February 22.

Year-round pursuits include falconry, horse riding, golf, gun dog training, cycling, tennis and off-road Land Rover safaris.

There’s also a playroom for youngsters and a teen zone with music, table football and karaoke.
