Get a Christmas scare at London Dungeons

 London Dungeon

There’s a haunting festive tale this year at the London Dungeons. The attraction on the capital’s South Bank will be turning the clock back 200 years to host The Ghost of Christmas from December 2 to January 5.

The live-action story is set in 1789 and sees the Thames frozen solid but as a body is discovered trapped beneath the ice, a murder mystery unravels and everyone is under suspicion.

Guests will need to get their stories straight as they step into the icy crime scene where the over-zealous investigator in charge of the case is questioning suspects.

Once released from questioning visitors will be drawn deeper into the Dungeon to come face to face with the Ghost of Christmas (above) who emerges from her icy grave to seek revenge.

When the show is over, there’s more as the rest of the Dungeons regulars come into play: Sweeney Todd and Mrs Lovett, Jack the Ripper, Guy Fawkes and Henry VIII will all be present to add more Christmas thrills.

Prices are from £22 (adult), £16.50 (children); The Christmas Ghost show is included in main entry price
