The busiest time for bookings in shops will be between 2pm and 3pm and the 42 per cent of online bookings will peak between 3pm and 8pm.
The most popular short-haul destinations are expected to be Croatia, Cyprus and Santorini (above) in Greece with Sri Lanka (below), Costa Rica, and Cuba topping the long-haul list.

“Summer 2016 will see 24 new routes departing from regional airports across the UK, ensuring our customers have more choice than ever. We really do have something for everybody, whether you want to adventure in Sri Lanka or relax in the Dominican Republic.”
New this year for Thomson Cruises is Thomson Discovery, which sets sail from June, to destinations including Naples, Barcelona and Cadiz (for Seville). And Thomson Celebration is sailing out of Dubai.
