Get a Maldives break cheaper than Wills and Kate

Wills and Kate

Oh dear, it was all going so well for Wills and Kate – and then they had to treat themselves to a second honeymoon in the Maldives.

Mummy bloggers are up in arms because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have left seven-month-old Prince George behind, although he’s hardly on his own! He’s been cared for by his doting grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and then, of course, there’s the baby’s security team to lend a hand too.

There could be a touch of jealousy rearing its ugly head from the “stay-at-home” mothers, who could probably never afford a break like the royals even if they could be persuaded to leave their little ones. Sun, sea and sand against bottles and nappies, no contest really!
Wills and Kate are staying at the luxurious Cheval Blanc Randheli, top picture, on Noonu Atoll on the northwest of the Maldives archipelago – and you won’t get much change out of £7,000 per person for a week including flights.

It’s very posh – owned by the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy conglomerate – and the couple will be enjoying butler service (no change there then) and fabulous views of the Indian Ocean. But, you don’t have to spend a fortune to enjoy a similar holiday which this special offer from Kuoni.
