This year sees one of the last iconic dates in a while on which to wed, with November 12 ringing up the unique 11-12-’13 date (or at least it does for our American friends).

To celebrate, Las Vegas’s Mob Museum is offering the chance for five couples to get married inside its courtroom – once site of some of America’s most notorious trials and hearings involving members of organised crime.

Booking the date doesn’t come cheap though – the cost of a ceremony will be $1,112.13 to include a marriage, commitment or vow renewal ceremony inside the historic, restored Federal courtroom or on the Museum’s front steps with its iconic façade as a backdrop. A single layer cake and champagne will be included for up to 20 guests.

Couples will also have the option to buy out the entire Museum, allowing the wedding party and guests to enjoy full access to the exhibitions. The Museum offers all-inclusive packages with catering, photography, officiant, floral, décor, musicians, lighting, photo booth – anything and everything to make the event memorable.

The courtroom has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur, a true portal to a time when the Mob ran the town.
