The View from The Shard celebrates its first Christmas with FREE admission for guests – but you have to be dressed as Santa Claus.
Anyone in full Father Christmas gear, including a beard, can get free admission to the visitor attraction at the top of Western Europe’s tallest building this Sunday, December 15 between 10am and 1pm.
At a maximum height of 244m/800ft, The View from The Shard offers unrivalled 360 degree views of London and the chance to get Santa’s sleigh-high perspective of the city’s iconic landmarks. On a clear day, you can see for up to 40 miles.
The special offer is part of a series of activities and promotions The View is undertaking this Christmas season. A ‘Kids Go Free’ offer will run from December 20 – January 6, an adult choir competition, ‘Sing it from the rooftops’, will run until December 23 and 500 local school children from the London Borough of Southwark will also visit The View to sing Christmas carols throughout this month.
