Go wild in Ireland like Christine Bleakley

Christine Bleakley

TV’s Christine Bleakley is giving viewers a taste of Ireland – here’s how you can see it for yourself.

Irish Ferries Holidays has four self-drive holiday itineraries designed to help travellers discover Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.

The 1,500-mile west coast scenic route offers Christine – and other travellers – unrivalled opportunities to discover beautiful land and seascapes, exciting activities, good food and local characters.

As an example, Irish Ferries Holidays’ suggested six-day self-drive itinerary in the North West takes in County Sligo – where next week’s Wild Ireland programme sees Christine learning to cut turf and go sea kayaking – and costs from £276 per person.

The package includes ferry travel to Ireland for a car, and five nights’ bed and breakfast in three and four-star hotels, based on two people sharing a room.

Longer touring itineraries can take in other sections of the world’s longest continuous scenic drive, or even the whole route, which starts in Donegal, follows the west coast and ends in County Cork in Ireland’s south-west.
