Take to the slopes with Olympic Gold Medallist Amy Williams – if you can splash out £1,500.
Amy – Britain’s first individual Gold Medallist at a Winter Olympics for 30 years in Vancouver 2010 – has teamed up with Momentum Ski to give holidaymakers some coaching tips.
She will join you in Innsbruck and advise and help you tackle a World Cup Skeleton track in Austria’s Igls. You can try the course from half-way or, if brave enough, the whole course. Don’t worry if you’d rather slow things down, you can go bobsleighing instead.
YourHols’ Trisha, who met Amy when she returned for a nostalgic trip to the winning Whistler track where she triumphed (below), says: “She is a fabulous person to be around, friendly and bubbly. She will make everyone feel so welcome.”
The trip, from December 13 to 15, includes two nights in the five-star Grand Hotel Europa, two dinners with Amy including welcome drinks and wines, private transfer from Innsbruck airport, transfers to and from Igls, the Skeleton track day experience and coaching with Williams, lunch and one Bobsleigh taxi ride.
