Get in gear at the Isle of Wight Cycling Festival

Isle of Wight Cycling Festival

The Isle of Wight Cycling Festival starts this weekend.

The festival, which starts on Saturday and lasts for two weeks will see cyclists explore the 200 miles of cycle tracks, byways and bridleways that saw the island tipped as one of the best places in the world to go cycling by Lonely Planet.

The festival covers three weekends from September 14-29 and features more than 60 bike rides – some of them highly competitive, others designed for the sheer fun of taking part, including a new Cycle Cinema run by pedal-power.

If you’d like to take part, a four-night Wightlink Green Getaways break at Niton Barns, departing on September 23 starts from £134 per person, including self-catering accommodation for four and ferry crossings.
