It’s Miami nice for DiCaprio

Heart-throb Leonard DiCaprio, who plays a brutal plantation owner in Quentin Tarantino’s new blockbuster Django Unchained, showed his softer side as he lounged by a Miami pool this week. The 38-year-old actor was of course surrounded by a group of gorgeous girls at the start of his “long break” from acting.

DiCaprio, who has also filmed Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf Of Wall Street and Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby over the past two years, says: “I am a bit drained. I’m now going to take a long, long break. I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out.”

You might not be able to afford the luxury of a long break but you could head out for a short twin-centre holiday in Miami and neighbouring Florida resort Fort Lauderdale. Fly from London on February 16 and spend four nights room-only at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66, Fort Lauderdale, and three nights at the Fashionhaus, Miami, from £1,069 per person, including car hire.
