Elite Island Resorts are running the first ever holiday ‘Bodyguard Bootcamp’ and ‘Ninja Club’ at St James’s Club Morgan Bay St Lucia with Chris, famous for the best-selling ‘Young Samurai’ and ‘Bodyguard’ series.
The two free programmes are the latest initiative in the partnership between Elite Island Resorts and Puffin, the world’s leading publisher of children’s books. Chris will lead sessions for six days covering activities including reading, drawing, story writing as well as the following:

Ninja Club, for five to eight year olds, and Bodyguard Bootcamp, for children aged nine and over, will run from July 26th – August 7th, alternating each day and will include:
Ninja Club
- dynamic all-kicking book reading
- learning the basics of martial arts
- learning how to speak Japanese and do origami
- discovering the mystical arts of the Ninja including Ninja stealth walking
- learning about the real Young Samurai and Ninja
- at the end of the week children will be able to introduce themselves in Japanese, perform a martial arts kata and read out their stories
Bodyguard Bootcamp
- experiencing the thrills and spills of the Bodyguard books with an interactive reading
- discovering the secret techniques of the Bodyguard
- learning about surveillance detection and put this into action in a surveillance exercise
- training in self defence skills such as learning how to keep someone back with just one finger
- at the end of the week using professional techniques learnt, participants will take part in an exercise to protect a famous young pop star visiting St James’s Club Morgan Bay
