Two ex-footballers have teamed up to launch a soccer school in the Canary Islands.

UEFA qualified coaches Gary Sperry, once of Leicester City, and former Rangers star Scott Nisbet (above) have launched the school at the family-friendly Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort in Lanzarote.

The new football classes will offer games, coaching, skills and exercise for boys and girls between the ages of five and sixteen. Starting from as little as €15 per day, sessions last two hours (10am – 12pm) and children can choose to take part from two to four days while on holiday.

Classes will be available seven days a week between June 25 and September 7 and will take place at Kikoland, the hotel´s family & sports centre.

Seven nights’ B&B at Princesa Taiza costs from £3449 for two adults and one child, including flights from London on August 27.
