Promoter Marius Els of Choose Your Cruise said: “It’s the biggest rock and roll event on a boat since Radio Caroline launched in 1964. We’ve got some seminal British rock ‘n’ roll acts the cover some of the most exciting periods in UK rock music, it’s going to be an amazing must-see event for any true rock lover.”

Rock The Boat UK is aboard the luxury five-star cruise liner the CMV Magellan, which sets sail from Newcastle on September 2, and there will be a different headline act playing each night.

Magellan has fine dining options in the Kensington and Waldorf restaurants and a casual buffet in the Raffles Bistro, plus al fresco round the pool. There are nine decks, two pools, three whirlpool baths, a theatre, show lounge, wellness centre, sauna and treatment rooms for spa sessions, a gym, card room, arts and crafts lessons, quizzes and a shopping mall.

The voyage  offers spectacular views of the Isle of Skye as the ship sails around the top of Scotland and stopping off at Aberdeen, Portree (Isle of Skye), Liverpool, Dublin, Invergordon, before getting back to Newcastle on September 9.

Prices start at £1,249 per person for an Interior Twin Stateroom, including all meals and entertainment. See Rock The Boat Cruise
