Mexican swinger holidays offered to Brits

swinger holidays

A Mexican holiday company is in the UK to promote breaks that go with a bang… quite literally. Desire Resorts is in London to push swinger holidays at its International Swingers Month – a series of partner-swapping parties, sexy shows and tantric talks at its two high-end, adult-only hotels outside Cancun in January.

Couples at the Desire and Desire Pearl hotels on the Riviera Maya can take other guests to their room, have sex with strangers in specially designated public areas and get sex tips from the stars of Playboy TV and Radio.

But Mexico’s strict health and safety regulations mean they must don clothes in the restaurants.

Mario Cruz, who came up with the concept, said: “For 11 months a year we operate clothing-optional hotels but we saw a lot of couples who were looking for like-minded guests to swap partners, so we created International Swingers Month to cater for them.

“The only rule is ‘no means no’ – but other than that, we don’t get involved with what people want to do.

“We allow threesomes and foursomes, where people sleep three or four to a room, and we allow single ladies to visit … because that’s what people who want to live the swinging life are into.

“People raise their eyebrows – but ISM is specially designed for people who want to swing and have a good time. We know it’s not for everyone.”

Events over the month include Sexy Uniform, Glow and Burlesque parties, as well as Masquerade Balls, tantric sex sessions, massages and advice for couples.

Michael Pockets from Playboy TV’s Swing with Holli and Michael put out an appeal to new guests saying: “You do not have to worry about being judged. Everyone’s accepted. We encourage you all to come and join us.”

And sexologist Jessica O’Reily who offers talks during ISM claimed: “The resorts are the perfect ambience to re-set as a couple. Everyone around you is in love and excited and in the mood… and it puts you in the mood too.”

The company is in Britain to exhibit at this week’s World Travel Market. “We are looking for new partners in the UK,” said Cruz.
