New campaign to see Britain on Foot

HF Holidays

Step forward to support the new national campaign Britain on Foot. Thousands of members of walking organisation HF Holidays are backing the move to get one million more people involved in outdoor activities.

Britain on Foot was launched by VisitEngland boss James Berresford and Ramblers chief Benedict Southworth and a host of groups involved in promoting the UK’s great outdoors including the National Trust. The aim is to encourage people to be more active – bringing significant benefits to the nation’s health and boosting domestic tourism.

HF Holidays takes 50,000 people on walking holidays every year. Boss Brian Smith said: “The nation’s health, employment and prosperity, social, active enjoyment of our beautiful country and people together outdoors – what is there not to like about this national campaign?  HF Holidays is honoured to be part of Britain on Foot.”
