It’s beyond me as to why people love being scared to death! I have been to Universal Orlando’s Halloween horror nights and spent the entire evening hiding behind anyone I could find, screaming like a baby.
Universal has just released more details about this year’s brilliantly staged event – running from September 15. It will feature frighteningly authentic “Scare Zones” based on iconic horror films Trick ‘r Treat and The Purge along with two mind-blowing live shows.
Unimaginable horrors will be brought to life in five spine-chilling “scare zones” filled with menacing scare actors that stalk guests as their prey. The street experiences will live within a collection of the most unearthly and macabre terrors called The Festival of the Deadliest.
Once guests enter this hallowed celebration of blood and bone, their nightmares will never end as they’ll attempt to survive two unique “scare zones” based on two celebrated films – iconic Halloween film Trick ‘r Treat and popular film franchise The Purge – as well as two original “scare zones” from the twisted minds of Universal Orlando’s entertainment team.
There’s more horror in nine haunted houses and two live shows. This is how Universal bosses describe this year’s specials:
As for the live shows, Academy of the Villains returns for a second consecutive year with an all-new show, ACADEMY OF VILLAINS: AFTERLIFE – incorporating fearsome elements from this year’s Festival of the Deadliest “scare zone.” Plus, after 26 years of Excellent Halloween Adventures, Bill and Ted are bringing their Farewell Tour to Halloween Horror Nights.
