Qantas flights from London to Australia will stop off at Dubai rather than Singapore from March next year. Qantas boss Simon Hickey, said routing flights via Dubai (rather than through Asia) would improve travel options.
“The proposed partnership with Emirates will offer Qantas customers one-stop access to more than 30 destinations in Europe compared with the five we offer now,” he said. Customers will be able to book flights through Dubai from March 31, 2013. Bookings prior to that are not affected. See www.qantas.com
