Pick up a piece of London Dungeon history

Alice Cooper at the London Dungeon on August 9 2010

Pick up a piece of London Dungeon’s history – like these stocks that have held the likes of Alice Cooper (pictured), One Direction and Jonathan Ross, when the gruesome attraction takes part in a car boot sale.

The Dungeon is holding the sale as it moves from its current location in London Bridge to a brand-spanking new home in the underground vaults of County Hall.

Included in the items up for sale are an array of torture and surgical implements, a mountain of severed limbs and a stash of false eyeballs, plus costumes.

“When we move, we’re not just changing address, we really are creating something totally new so inevitably we have rather a lot of items from Tooley Street that need re-homing,” explains General Manager, Ben Sweet.  “Rather than sell them all off to a theatre prop shop or museum we decided to let fans have a chance to own a bit of our horrible history.”

The London Dungeon’s “carnage car boot” stall will be at Pimlico Car Boot Sale, Lupus Street, London, SW1V 3AT, from 11.30am until stock sells out on Sunday February 3.
