Princess Cruises is starring in a six-part fly-on-the-wall TV series – and from a clip seen by YourHols it looks like being a winner.

Crew members and passengers will be seen living life on the waves in the 8.30pm weekly programme called The Cruise, screened in March.

Tony Roberts, Princess Cruises’ UK boss, said: “We are showcasing the cruise experience  and viewers will see how we appeal to everyone from businessmen to families. It was fantastic to have every aspect of life on a modern cruise ship captured on film.”

Princess Cruises, celebrating its 50th birthday, chose the 19-deck Regal Princess and its 1,400 crew to appear in the show, which includes filming on a 11-day trip in the Baltic.

Passengers feature too, including Martha who has been cruising since she was four and went on 11 voyages last year.

Paul Hamann, executive producer at Wild Pictures, said: “We filmed for 45 days and it is one of the best things we have ever done, mainly because of the extraordinary characters  taking part.”
