Seaworld’s new Mako hypercoaster on the move

Mako hypercoaster

Seaworld’s new Mako hypercoaster is on the move… as the first parts of its 4,760 feet began their journey from the production factory in Ohio to its new home in Orlando this week.

With a maximum speed of 74 mph and a height of 200ft, when completed for summer 2016, Mako will be Orlando’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster.

The giant piece of indigo and blue coloured track will travel on an open flatbed truck nearly 1,000 miles to its destination in Florida. The coaster will be the centerpiece of a two-acre, shark-themed realm at SeaWorld Orlando.

The best value ticket for visiting SeaWorld is a 3-Park SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Ticket which offers 14 days unlimited entry to three parks for the price of two – SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa – when guests book and visit before December 31, 2016. Prices start from £97 per adult and £93 per child. See www.seaworldparks.co.uk.
