A tour company is offering 20 per cent winter holiday discounts for tours booked by the end of the month, including Christmas trips to Lapland.

Small group tour specialist Back-Roads Touring is offering the saving on tours including family holidays in Lapland to getaways during the olive harvest in Tuscany.

The group tours have a maximum of 18 people and the company claims to stay away from main roads and motorways. Stays are in boutique accommodation and there’s the chance to take part in exclusive activities, from local cooking classes to private tours of estates and gardens.

Family Christmas in Lapland
