See why you won’t queue at Universal’s new Volcano Bay

Volcano Bay

How good is this… not having to queue yourself for a theme park ride? When Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay opens on May 25, each guest will be handed a wristband allowing them to virtually wait in line.

The clever device is called a TapuTapu. Why? Because you’ll walk up to an attraction entrance and with just a simple tap, receive a return time for that attraction.

The TapuTapu then allows you to virtually wait in line so you can enjoy other areas of Volcano Bay. Each one of Volcano Bay’s four themed areas has attractions for all ages – so you don’t have to go far to have a great time while waiting.

Take a look at how the the TapuTapu works here

Volcano Bay is Universal Orlando’s third theme park and will be an entirely new water theme park experience, filled with incredible thrills and relaxation areas too.

There are 30 acres of rides, flumes and experiences including a multi-directional wave pool with sandy beaches, a peaceful winding river, twisting multi-rider raft rides and speeding body slides that drop from the top of the volcano into the waters below.
