Weathergirl and TV presenter Sian Lloyd certainly found a way to beat the heat on a recent trip to Abu Dhabi.
The TV presenter grabbed a brolly to keep her cool in the heat when she headed to Yas Island.
Sian, the UK’s longest serving female weather forecaster and the woman behind the popular tvweathergirl.com website, found an ideal way to cool off in average temperatures up to 30C she headed to Yas Waterworld, where the umbrella doubled as a sunshade and a splash guard.
She said: “I’ve been amazed at how much there is to see and do in Abu Dhabi, and the weather is just gorgeous. I had forecast top-draw attractions such as Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, but had not appreciated the depth of the emirate’s cultural past.
“I predict a sunny outlook for the destination! The introduction of world-class cultural institutions, such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, from next year onwards will map a prevailing wind of growth for visitors to Abu Dhabi.”
