Thomson today reveals it is opening three more Sensatori resorts next year – in Ibiza, Turkey’s Dalaman region and Cyprus.

You will be able to book the new exclusive properties in 12 days time, from April 24, for stays from May 2015. This brings the total of 5T Sensatori resorts – with super facilities including swim-up suites, gourmet restaurants and world class spas – to nine.

Thomson has also revealed that from November they will be giving free drinks to economy passengers on all long-haul flights and that they are opening a new Couples hotel in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

But it is the launch of three new luxurious Sensatori resorts that will be applauded by holidaymakers who want a little bit extra from a package holiday. The hotel in Cala Tarida, on Europe’s part capital Ibiza, will be the first short-haul Sensatori, less than a three-hour flight from the UK. It will boast five a la carte restaurants, four bars and five pools.

The new-build Sensatori Resort Fethiye, set among cobbled streets and a buzzing harbour in Turkey’s Dalaman region, promises to be as luxurious as the neighbouring Sensatori in Side. The other five Sensatori hotels are in Jamaica, Mexico, Crete, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and Tenerife.

One of Cyprus’s most renowned hotels, Aphrodite Hills (above), with amazing panoramic views over the Mediterranean, is being refurbished to become the third new Sensatori.

Mark Hall, director of product, said: “It’s exciting news and the Sensatori hotels give people a level of luxury they can’t get anywhere else. We are also continuing to invest in our airline and front this winter the drinks will be on us on all long-haul flights.”
