If you like walking and cruising, these holidays are for you. Walking holiday specialist Ramblers has launched new river cruise holidays where you sail into Europe’s cities and villages and then explore them on foot.
Don’t worry if you are not a serious walker, the emphasis is on casual strolls. There’s a choice of three seven-night cruises along the Rhine, Danube (above) and the Rhone. They are all part of the new Adagio programme of more gentle, walking holidays.
