Lake District
This Easter, the Lake District’s oldest and longest narrow-gauge railway, Ravenglass and Eskdale, is offering free travel to kids under 15 who bring their teddy bears along for the ride and help it celebrate its 100th anniversary as a 15” narrow-gauge railway. Between April 3 and 16, five golden tickets to win prizes will also be hidden in the railway’s line guide.

Pop star Miley Cyrus (above) is the latest wax figure at Madame Tussauds London, arriving in time for Easter. Inspired by Miley’s recent sell-out The Bangerz Tour, the figure sits on top of a giant neon-pink, tongue-shaped slide, rocking a typically sassy look with cropped blonde hair, bejewelled red and white checked outfit and, of course, her trade-mark tongue-out smile.
