Travelodge has put 70,000 family rooms on sale for October half-term for £35 or less.

And they’ve come up with Top 10 ideas for how families can enjoy the break – in one of the UK’s 66 great cities steeped in history and culture such as London, Edinburgh, York, Oxford and Bath.

Or, by taking a rural break in The Lake District (above), Yorkshire Dales, Peak District or Scottish Highlands.
