Add Albania to a Balkan road trip

Blue eye spring, Albania (Large)

Balkan Road Trip, which offers driving holidays through Eastern Europe has launched a new Albania add-on.

The two day addition to its existing Croatia to Greece Pass tour will take in Unesco-listed Gjirokastra Old Town, the Blue Eye Spring (above) near Saranda, the Mesopotam Monastery and Butrint National Park.

The Albania option can be added onto the three-night Croatia to Greece Pass which creates a transit tour from Dubrovnik  to Corfu Greece.

En route travellers stop off at some of the least explored jewels of Albania and Montenegro including the Unesco-listed walled city of Kotor in Montenegro, Albania’s capital Tirana with its lively nightlife and low prices, the Turkish town of Berat and the fascinating Roman colony of Butrint before finishing on Corfu.

The Croata to Greece Pass starts from £219 per person with the Albania section an extra £135 per person if chosen. The price includes all hotel accommodation (B&B), a tour guide, transport and driver.
