If you think the stars on TV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here have to be tough, their tasks are nothing to those on a boot camp in Sherwood Forest. The Clumber Park Hotel is running a six-day all-inclusive camp after Christmas when we’ll all need it.
It is aimed for those who want to get fit and active and be refreshed and re-invigorated, “giving you new skills and enabling you to unearth talents and energy you didn’t think you had”. The six-day programme is led by Clumber Park Hotel’s fitness trainer Kyle Hanrahan, and includes a rigorous but fun daily schedule of training, activities and healthy eating.
You’ll wake at 6.30am every day and take part in an Army-accredited assault course, runs, forest circuit training, body conditioning and hikes through the beautiful countryside. Limited to a maximum of 12 people, a nutritionist will be on hand to advise on food issues.
