Virgin Holidays has a Cape Town late deal. You’ll stay for four nights B&B at the 4V Protea Hotel President in Bantry Bay, Cape Town, after flying with Qatar Airways to South Africa from Heathrow on September 11. Price is per person based on two adults sharing a mountain facing room. The price is a saving of up to £405 per person.
The Protea Hotel President gets the thumbs up from Trip Advisor with a recent reviewer saying: “We had a great time at this hotel. Top notch staff and top notch rooms. We had a suite which suited us as we were staying for 14 nights. 5 min. Drive to to the Waterfront and the cableway parking. If you go to the Waterfront on an evening for a meal and a drink take the public transport just a 2 min. Walk away.”
Sounds good to YourHols. Have to point out that another guest didn’t like the fact it was surrounded by flats. Let’s point out that we are talking about a built-up city so I wouldn’t let that put you off. The hotel is close to Clifton Beach so you’ll be able to take some leisurely walks it it isn’t quite hot enough to sunbathe although the temperature should be around 64F. So not bad.
