Catch the Northern Lights on film

The Northern Lights are one of nature’s most exciting phenomena but what you see is not always what you get on film. Just like the ability to photograph dolphins before they dip back under water there are tips that will allow you to get better pictures of this amazing phenomenon and Wild Photography holidays has launched a trip to show you how.
The aurora photography experience is based in Iceland’s most iconic country hotel Búðir with magnificent views of the glacier and located right on a coastal estuary: probably  the most beautiful place in Iceland to photograph the Northern lights?
This holiday is a must for photographers who desire to stand beneath a starry sky to witness first hand the aurora and to learn how to capture beautiful and striking images of the lights set in the stunning landscapes for which Iceland is famous. This holiday is also a must for photographers who do not want to ‘rough it’ but prefer a touch of class in their accommodation and some first rate photographic tuition in a relaxed, inspiring setting with a small group of like minded companions.
You can expect:
• Northern Lights
• Photographic tuition
• Delicious food
• Snæfellsjökull glacier
• Búðir Hotel
• Remarkable Landscapes
• Sunrises and sunsets
• Iceland’s Glolden Circle
• Liked minded companions

The trip departs October 11 and includes 3 nights country hotels, 5 nights Buðir country hotel, all in country transport, breakfast, lunch, the services of guides and photographic tutor, transfers to and from Iceland’s International airport. The cost is £1,850 but international flights are extra.
