Couples-only hotel opens on Barbados

Couples Barbados

The first couples-only resort on Barbados opened this week. The all-inclusive, four-star hotel is perfect for romance – set on the white sands of Dover Beach within 10 acres of tropical gardens.

Couples Barbados’ guests also get free watersports including scuba diving for PADI certified divers, snorkelling, body boarding, windsurfing, Hobie Cat sailing and kayaking with instruction. The Couples Spa and its outdoor cabanas offer a range of therapies and treatments including soothing massages, facials, body wraps and scrubs, reflexology, manicures and pedicures.

You can dine al fresco at the Dover Grill seafood restaurant, relax into the Bajan way of life at Yes Please, which offers Caribbean cuisine, or enjoy the International buffet at the Waves. There’s a selection of excursions including a sunset cruise, swimming with turtles and a monkey trail. The hotel is at the centre of Barbados’ south coast, perfectly placed to sample the many fabulous restaurants and bars in St Lawrence Gap a ten-minute walk.

Kenwood Travel offers a saving of up to 40% and £550 per couple with a seven-night stay from £1,157 per person. This price is based on two adults sharing a Palm Garden Room on an all-inclusive basis and includes return flights with Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick on selecteddates in September and October and transfers.
