Super posh hotels of The Dorchester Collection are offering a series of wine-themed events, hosted by their female sommeliers.
Designed to celebrate International Women’s Day 2013 there will be three events in London, Paris and Milan, the events will toast female achievements in wine and inspire discussions on female wine makers, next generation wine families, the female palate and simply being a woman in the sommelier world.
The sommeliers will compare Old World and New World wines with two wine selections from American, French and Italian wines.The intimate affairs will host up to a maximum of 20 guests from 7-8pm with wine and canapés included for €120/£100 per person.
The three female sommeliers (above) are: Vanessa Cinti from 45 Park Lane in London, Estelle Touzet from Le Meurice in Paris and Alessandra Veronesi from the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan and the events are March 6 (London), March 7 (Paris) and March 8 (Milan).
Guests can also embark on a wine road trip and take in all three events with one night at each property costing £1,600 for the three days – transport is extra.
