easyJet launches new holiday company selling breaks to 100 destinations

It’s always something to celebrate – the travel industry expanding with more holiday choices for consumers. easyJet has today launched its new holiday business – so you can book flights and a hotel of your choice to more than 100 beach and city destinations in just a few clicks.

What’s great is you will get one total price for your package with no added extras and, the best thing, 23kg of hold baggage.

easyJet Holidays boss Garry Wilson said: “It’s exciting, we are offering quality, great value holidays to European destinations, many undiscovered.”

The new company is spending millions of pounds to attract customers with ads during I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Gogglebox.

Launch: easyJet has 330 planes which carry 100 million people a year

easyJet, the largest travel company in Europe flying 100 million passengers a year, has handpicked 5,000 hotels, ranging from two-star to five-star, with 500 of those being just for easyjet customers.

Mr Wilson added: “We know the way people travel has changed considerably, especially in the last five to 10 years.  We know customers want flexibility on when and how they holiday, they want to be able to easily pick a hotel and have a hassle-free booking process.”

Research showed people spend an average of seven hours on-line searching for a holiday and easyJet are confident their new site and app will help reduce the time.

Prices will be competitive and beach holidays will include a transfer.
