February half-term at the London Dungeon

half-term at the London Dungeon

There’s spooky action going on this February half-term at the London Dungeon.

The popular attraction will play host to a new attraction featuring the London Burkers, a criminal gang of grave robbers famous for making a living digging up the dead.

Set in 1840s London, the story sees the grave robbers prowl the capital’s cemeteries digging up bodies to sell to hospitals for research. But when the bodies are in short supply they turn to unscrupulous means to provide fresh corpses for hard cash.

On entry to the Dungeon, guests will be given a ‘donor card’ that will decide their fate when they come face to face with the gang. At a later encounter, their leader John Bishops will demand to see their card.

Those with  ‘full body’ cards will head to a doctor’s surgery, the Doctor will demonstrate the most valuable of organs, and how they can be removed to ensure the biggest reward.

The rest of the attraction features a thousand years of London history, with stories from Jack the Ripper, to Guy Fawkes and Sweeney Todd, as well as the Drop Dead drop ride, meant to simulate the feeling of being hung.
