Follow Bear Grylls to Costa Rica

Bear Grylls

Tough guy Bear Grylls is on his adventures again with the launch of his new TV series – and he’s been scrambling through the rainforest in Costa Rica.

In ‘Bear Grylls: Mission Survive’, he was seen with eight celebrities on a trek through the dense jungle to find shelter, water, fire, and food.

The programme gave viewers the chance to see the real beauty of Costa Rica – from abseiling ferocious waterfalls, crossing perilous rapids, trudging through swamps and negotiating razor-sharp vines.

Tempted to follow Bear Grylls to the Central American country? Hayes and Jarvis’ ‘Costa Rican Adventure’ is ideal for the more adventurous traveller looking for a real taste of the unspoilt land.

With stops in Totuguero, Sarapiqui, Arenal, Monteverde, and Rincon de la Vieja, the eight-night tour gives travellers the opportunity to hike through misty cloud forests, visit the world’s most active volcano, and cruise through jungle rivers by boat. From £1,599 per person – saving up to £168 per person, departing on September 19, the offer includes three-star plus accommodation with some meals and return flights from Heathrow with United Airlines.

Bear’s show is on Friday nights and he will also be showing you how to survive in the Alps, Florida’s Everglades and Mexico’s Copper Canyon.
