Daish’s Holidays are making it cheaper for families to take a half-term break. They are offering free child places over the Spring Bank Holiday and May half-term in Torquay, Newquay, Bournemouth or the Isle of Wight.
Short breaks include, for example, four-night stays in Torquay starting on May 29 for at £164 per adult (twin share) with a free child place for one youngster aged between six and 15. Pre-school children also stay free. Prices are based on two adults and up to two children sharing a family room at the Devonshire Hotel and include half-board accommodation and live, nightly entertainment.
Facilities at the hotel – within easy reach of the town’s sandy beach, harbour and shopping centre – include an outdoor heated pool, games room with Wii, pool table and arcade games.
