With filming underway for the historic 50th anniversary episode of Dr Who, fans of the TV show will love this self-catering cottage in Kent – it comes with its own Tardis and Dalek.

Doctor John Smith’s Cottage is a charming three-bed three-bed holiday home and apple barn  situated in the Conservation Area of the historic town of Lydd on the Romney Marsh in Kent.  

Recently refurbished and decorated it retains many original features with exposed beams, and courtyard garden.

The cottage offers 1 spacious double bedroom, and 1 single bedroom, living room, and fully equipped kitchen/diner with a range cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Included also are a flat screen television, HD Blu-Ray DVD player, and HD satellite reception.

The sheltered private courtyard is equipped with garden furniture and barbeque.

The Apple Barn is accessed via the courtyard garden and houses  Doctor John Smith’s Dr Who collection, including a scale model of a Dalek, one of the Dr’s former friends K9 and an extensive Dr Who DVD library.

The Apple Barn has a twin bedroom with single beds, flat screen television and its own bathroom with shower.
