Good vibrations are coming to the top Tirolean ski resort of Ischgl – for the Beach Boys are launching the winter season.

Skiing and boarding by day and California sounds by night as snow and sand come together with the unmistakeable sound of The Beach Boys against the glorious backdrop of the Silvretta range of mountains in the Austrian Alps.

Following their reunion in 2012, the band has launched a new brand of rock, but the 20,000 crowd can look forward to old favourites such as Fun, Fun, Fun, Wouldn’t It Be Nice, I Get Around, Good Vibrations and Surfin’ USA.

The concert on Saturday November 28 at 6pm in Ischgl’s town arena (above) is free with a valid lift pass. Day passes will be available for 65 Euro (£47) and for those staying in Ischgl with a guest card, there will be two-day passes for 90.50 Euro (£65) and three-day for 118 (£85).

The Beach Boys join Ischgl’s vast Hall Of Fame for season opening and closing concerts including Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Lionel Richie, Deep Purple, Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry.

Ischgl’s winter season opens two days before the concert and continues until the beginning of May. In addition to 238 kms of piste and 45 ski lifts, the town will unveil the new £24m traffic scheme. The ‘Parking Lounge’ car park has 600 spaces, a pedestrian tunnel and bus terminal.
