That’s what we want – cheaper train tickets. East Coast is offering a festive flat fare for customers to travel across its route from £10 one-way in Standard and £30 in First Class. The seat sale, until Tuesday December 18, on www.eastcoast.co.uk/christmas is for travel between Monday January 7 and Friday March 1 2013 on journeysalong the route from Scotland to London.
There are 125,000 tickets up for grabs to a number of destinations including London, Leeds, York, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Head of Marketing Natalie Cowen said: “We thought it would be nice to bring a little festive cheer to our customers this Christmas and give them something to look forward to in the New Year with this great value seat sale. Our Christmas seat sale is the perfect reason to treat a loved one to a fantastic New Year getaway.”
