Legoland Windsor launches toy reunion service

Legoland Windsor

Anyone who’s been on holiday when one of their kids has lost a favourite teddy will know what a nightmare it can be… but worry no more, Legoland Windsor has launched a toy reunion service.

The service – designed to help reunite lost bears and Barbies with their owners – can be found on a special Facebook page. All toys or teddies found on the park and at the Legoland Windsor Resort will be labelled with the date they were found, photographed and their details will be posted on the page straight away.

“We accumulate a lot of lost property here at Legoland Windsor and unfortunately that includes a fair number of precious teddies and toys, particularly in the Summer holidays,” said the resort’s Liz Edwards.

“We already have a good success rate when it comes to returning left behind toys, but we appreciate teddy separations can be a big deal so we wanted to make it quicker, easier and less upsetting. By posting photos online children can also see that the object of their affection is safe and being well looked after – hopefully relieving some of the anxiety and stress!”

The service will be live from Thursday July 24 at www.facebook.com/officiallegolandwindsor.

Online advance ticket prices for Legoland are from £35.10 for adults, £31.05 for children (free for under threes) and from £132.30 for families (2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children).
