If you’re not flying off to the sun this weekend, pop on your bikini anyway! Not sure it will go with wellies, coat and umbrella but TV presenter Myleene Klass – who launched BA’s summer schedule by posing on a runway – seemed to pull off the new look.
She said: “Take advantage of British Airways’ summer schedule starting, grab your bikini (you know I’m partial to mine) and let’s get out of this freezing weather!”
BA has a host of new Spanish destinations this summer. New services from Gatwick start to Tenerife on March 29 and to Alicante and Lanzarote on March 31. Flights from Heathrow to Palma also begin on March 31 and to Ibiza from April 27. London City airport will also benefit from a new BA flight to Granada in Spain from July 25.
The airline also starts two new long-haul destinations this season with flights from Gatwick to Sri Lanka from April 14 and services from Heathrow to Chengdu in China begin on September 22. From March 31 British Airways is moving its flights to and from Dusseldorf, Toulouse, Zagreb, Leeds Bradford and Almaty from Heathrow’s Terminal 1 to Terminal 5 and Larnaca, Singapore and Sydney from Terminal 3 into Terminal 5.
The airline is also increasing the number of flights it has to Amman, Shanghai, Beirut, Nairobi, Hyderabad, Boston, Phoenix, Jeddah, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro and Toronto over the summer.
